First off, thanks for reading my Journal. Seriously. Because of you, I keep up with this. Many times I have contemplated on stopping my Journal. But when I look back on my older entries, I see my growth as a photographer and I see all the beautiful people I have had the pleasure of photographing. I guess you see something in my work, and in me, too. So, thank you… for your support and in helping me grow.

My sister and I have collaborated since we were children. I first picked up a camera in 2005 or 2006 and Halle was my first model by circumstance. She was maybe 4 or 5 years old when I started dressing her up for photo shoots. I’d put her in vibrant outfits put together from our dress up room which was filled with punk-rock/goth attire, vintage gowns, sequin dance suits… you name it. We’d walk along the road we lived on until we found a photogenic spot and then create “high-end” editorial photo shoot for an hour or so. All of this was just for fun. And now, almost 15 years later, we are still at it. She helps me achieve goals for myself, as an artist and as a business. I’m not sure where I would be without her honestly…
I wanted to dive into 2021 with a style and collection of boudoir images which represents everything I have to offer. I used Halle as my trusted model since I have such a history with her. For this editorial shoot, I used digital and 35mm b&w film photography. I wanted a variety of texture and tones within my work and I find b&w ilford 35mm film gives off the best shadows and highlights, and texture! With any boudoir session I offer, I want my clients to be able to choose their medium, digital or film, or both. To some, especially other creatives, this is so important. Film has a history, a tangibleness, we do not get from digital. Therefore, for my artists at heart, I offer the choice of film.

There’s a slight aroma of hot coffee, along with a familiar smell of the outdoors. Unlike other studios, I feel at home here.
Why? Maybe it’s because of the open space here along with natural sunlight touching my skin, beaming from the ceiling panels. Maybe it’s because everything about the countryside is relaxing, even the drive to the studio was relaxing… The fields, the trees, the open sky I saw. Or maybe it’s because Peyton cares so much about me. She talked to me in advance to make sure my needs and desires were met, prepared me for my session by giving me advice and free guides. Peyton also guided me through my motions and poses with ease and comfort, making me feel resilient.
I feel so confident. I feel so beautiful. I feel so… loved. I didn’t know loving myself felt this good.

I want you to be able to see what my studio space can offer, what my current style of photography looks like, and what my final result looks like as well. My private studio has a changing room, boudoir wardrobe, hair and make-up accessories, tons of props and furniture, and multiple areas to photography.
My boudoir sessions start at $350.00 and go up depending on your wants and desires. Each session is always styled differently; styling is based on your vision and my vision put together! The more we communicate, the better your session with look when styled.
If you don’t have an outfit, we can also discuss what I have in my boudoir wardrobe for you. I’ll set up a time for us to chat about your style, your size, your perfect fit, and anything else you desire (hair, make-up, etc).
